Aku Koskinen

Aku Koskinen (b. 1987) is a Finland based cinematographer who has been working in wide variety of projects, ranging from fiction and documentaries to music videos and commercials.

His work is known for its naturalistic, raw and carefully crafted visual language with the focus always on the narrative. The work often includes exploring the differences of still and moving images where he likes to break the boundaries of conventional cinematography.

To transfer the vision of the director to the silver screen he finds the most important quality you can have is not only giving your voice, but listening. The collaboration is something he thrives to exceed at.
